It feels like May was just yesterday, tearing down my classroom, saying goodbye to my students and excited about starting my summer vacation soaking up the sun.  I made it a goal of mine to recharge and relax during my time off.  This summer has been a season full of personal reflection and growth in being a better wife.  Now summer is officially over for me and I am excited to switch gears and put on my “teacher hat” again.  I am looking forward to meeting my students and trying new things in my classroom.  

It’s funny these roles that I play: band wife and teacher.  You wouldn’t think these two go together, at least in my head.
